Alice Mae Cornett

Alice Mae Hesson Cornett, 93, of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Brookdale of Greenville.

She was born on July 15, 1928, in Hamilton, Ohio, to the late Byron and Henrietta (Hake) Koger.

In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husbands, Gerald "Gene" Hesson and Dillard Cornett; and her siblings, Vivian Subler, Thurman Koger, William Koger, Robert Koger, Loraine Potter, and Claire Brock.

Alice was a machine operator at Masters Industries in Ansonia for 22 years. She loved live music, and after she retired, she was always going to concerts enjoying live country music. She tried to stay active and enjoyed dancing and walking.

Alice is survived by her children, Victoria (Lawrence) Rammel of Mechanicsburg, Ohio, James (Robin) Hesson of Union City, Ohio, and Jeffrey (Lisa) Hesson of Greenville, Ohio; her grandchildren, Amy (Tristan Walker) Sherrock, Sarah Harrington, Jared Rammel, John (Mackenzie Mitchel) Rammel, Matt (Lisa) Forney, Tyler (Becky) Hesson, Dillion (Alexa) Hesson, and Devan (Danielle) Hesson; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Jonathon, Anna, Alisa, Alaya, Asher, Willow, Baylon, Wade, Hope, Austin, Dylan, Wyley, Waylynn, Weston, Wade, Lincoln, Bratcher, Deacon, and Everlee; and her brother, Lowell (Mary Ann) Koger of Pennsylvania;

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, July 15, 2022, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville, with Fr. Matt Feist officiating. Burial will follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions may be given to Brookdale Hospice, 2621 Dryden Road, Moraine, Ohio 45439.
