Benjamin "Ben" W. Wages

Benjamin "Ben" W. Wages, 49, passed away from complications resulting from an extended illness on November 13, 2013 at Grandview Hospital in Dayton. Ben was born on April 18, 1964 in Greenville, Ohio to Coleman and Yvonne (Timmons) Wages. Ben was a software engineer for WorkflowOne. He had a Bachelors of Computer Science Degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. He was a 1982 graduate of Tri Village Schools. Ben enjoyed watching The Ohio State University Buckeyes football, Cincinnati Bengals football and Cincinnati Reds baseball with his dad as well as other sports teams. Ben was gifted with a beautiful tenor singing voice and was a talented drummer. Ben is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben and Treva Timmons and Waldon and Viney Wages. In addition to his parents, Ben is survived by his wife, Lisa (Allen) Wages whom he married on July 15, 2006; step daughter, Christina Bayley; a brother, Doug and wife Sue Wages; a sister, Angela and husband George Hunt as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Ben will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of life service will be held on Monday, November 18, 2013 at Cedar Grove Church of the Brethren, 373 Love Road, New Paris, Ohio at 2:00 PM. Family and Friends may visit on Sunday, November 17, 2013 from 2-5 PM also at the church. Memorial contributions may be given in memory of Ben.
