Bettie E. Dowler-Harless

Bettie E. Dowler-Harless, 82, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2015 at Sterling House of Greenville.

She was born May 8, 1933, in Arcanum, Ohio, daughter of the late Joel Wesley and Susie (White) Wogoman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Dowler; brother, Aaron Wogoman

Bettie had retired from being a designer for Annie's Attic, in Big Sandy, TX and was a care giver for over 10 years for T & D Home Healthcare. She was a former member of the Eastern Star in New Madison and Ansonia Grange.

She is survived by her second husband, Richard Harless; children, Joel (Carolyn) Dowler of New Madison, Terry (Dianna) Dowler of Union City, IN, Michael (Juanita) Dowler of Colorado Spring and Cheryl Jean (Van) Dowler of TX; 14 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Alice Godown and Myrtle Cox.

Services will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, May 27 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Angela Meeks officiating. Burial will follow in the East Zion Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday, from 4 PM to 8 PM . In the lieu of flowers the family request that memorials be given to Alzheimer's Association.
