Betty Lou Baker, age 84 of Laura, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at Brookdale Senior Living, Greenville.
She was born on October 20, 1939 in Montgomery County to the late Edna Mae (Jordan) and Elmer W. King.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her brother, William King and niece, Kathy (King) Thayer.
Those left to cherish Betty’s memory include her son, Rodney (Robin) Baker; granddaughter, Cayley Baker; nephew and niece, Kevin (Rene) King and Kristene (Scott) Clark.
Betty graduated from Franklin Monroe High School in 1958. She worked for many years at NCR, Western Electric, K&S Circuits, and Palmer Plastics working as a drill press operator and in the office. Betty loved her cat, Lacey, and making Christmas tags out of used Christmas cards. She was fiercely proud of her son and granddaughter. Betty was always very active, she enjoyed doing yard work, gardening, and flowers.
A visitation will be held from 10:00 AM- 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville.
A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at the funeral home with Pastor Sean Martin officiating. Interment will follow the funeral service at Arlington Cemetery in Brookville, Ohio.
