Betty L. Brewer

Betty Louise (Baker) Brewer, age 87, of New Madison passed away on December 30^th, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.  Betty was born October 4, 1936, in Troy, Ohio to the late Emery and Ruth Baker.

In addition to her parents Betty was precede in death by her loving husband of 62 years Donald Lee Brewer, her brothers Samuel and Edwin Baker, and her sisters Glenna Williams and Mildred Harris.

Betty worked at the New Madison Supermarket for 25 years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed helping on the family farm, spending time with her family, and baking cookies and cakes. She was also an avid chicken collector.

Betty leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons Brian Lee Brewer with wife Kellie of Bradford and Kevin Lee Brewer with wife Sharon of Greenville. Betty is also survived by her 13 grandchildren Scott Abernathy and Lisa Phelps (Anthony) of Bradford, Jarica Kubichek (Tim) of Sidney, Dale Brewer (Caroline) of Cumming, Georgia, Cole Brewer (Taylor) of New Madison, Samuel Brewer of Greenville, Brittany Brewer of Falmouth, Kentucky, and KayLee, Paul, Matthew, Abbigayle, Elizabeth, and Faith Brewer of Greenville. Betty was blessed to love 7 great grandchildren, Landen Grice, Jacob Clark, Austin and Loretta Phelps, Gianna and Philomena Brewer, and Ruth Brewer. She is also survived by her brother Harold Baker and wife Terry of Troy, sister-in-law Thelma Brewer of Greenville, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville. A service will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, January 5, 2024 at the funeral home with Pastor Tony Price officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.
