Betty E. Brumbaugh

Betty E. Brumbaugh, 89, of Ansonia, passed away Friday evening, October 22, 2010 at the Gade Nursing Home in Greenville. She was born January 6, 1921 in Darke County, daughter of the late Grover A. and Wilma L. (Ross) Miller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Edward Brumbaugh on October 30, 1973; two brothers, Jessie and Ross Miller; and a close friend, Dan Amspaugh. A homemaker, Betty had worked as a waitress at the Ansonia Inn and Bear's Coffee Shop before retiring from the Royal Garment Company in Ansonia. She was a member of the Ansonia Christian Church. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Connie and Zane Keller of Ansonia; a grandson, Zane (Lori) Keller, Jr.; two great grandsons, Zachary and Seth Keller; a sister, Ireta Beard of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, October 28 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Beamsville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to either the Gade's Activities Department or the Ansonia Christian Church.
