Betty Lou (Hunt) Fox, 94, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2024, at Rest Haven Nursing Home.
She was born on December 21, 1929, in Darke County to the late John and Virgie (Ashman) Hunt.
In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Carroll Fox, whom she married on August 25, 1950, and who passed away on June 13, 1999; and her son-in-law, Charles "Chuck" Brant; and her sister, Barbara Price.
Betty is survived by her twin daughters, Carolyn (Butch) Byers of Greenville, and Marilyn (Richard) Rhoades of Greenville; her grandchildren, Curtis (James) Brant of Michigan, and Holly (Joel) Bayles of Columbus, Carla (Toni) Rhoades of Centerville, Ohio, Kurt (Helyanne) Rhoades of Clinton, UT, and Derek Byers (Fiance Jessica) of Centerville, Ohio; nephews, Roger and Rocky Stahl both of Greenville
Betty was a 1947 graduate of Greenville High School. She worked for Corning in Greenville for over 20 years, until she retired in 1991. In her free time, Betty enjoyed going mushroom hunting, shopping, going to garage sales, and the Darke County Fair.
A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
