Betty L. Moore-Henderson, 84 of Greenville passed away Monday August 27 at her residence. She was born August 1, 1923 in Darke County daughter of the late Glenn and Thelma (Miller) Hollinger. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Herbert L. Moore, her second husband, Ray Henderson, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. She was retired from Greenville City Schools where she had worked as the cafeteria manager. She was a member of the Greenville VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Rodney (Grace) Moore of Greenville; Tonya Moore and fiancee David Compton of Greenville; Teresa (Ron) Emory of Martinez, GA; step children, Judy (Alfred) Barga of Versailles and Larry (Ineke) Henderson of Greenville; grandchildren, Michael Moore, Sandra Moore, Michael (Gwen) Anderson, Elsye (Eric) Shander; Great grandchildren, Meagan Shander, Danielle Shander and Nathan Anderson; several step grandchildren and step great grandchildren;a sister, Dixie Jo (David) Staley of Lima, a sister-in-law Florence Hollinger of Greenville; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Saturday, September 1 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Mary's Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. John White officiating. Private graveside services will be held at a later date at the Abbottsville Cemetery. Friends may call at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville, Friday from 5-8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the charity of the donor's choice.
