Beverly Ann Birt

Beverly Ann Birt, age 73 of Greenville, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at home surrounded by family. She had fought a 7-year battle with cancer with the support of her family, friends, doctors and her faith in her Lord Jesus Christ. 

Bev was preceded in death by her parents Jesse (Jr) and Helen Trump.  

She is survived by her loving husband of over 50 years, Robert “Bob” Birt; sons, Blake Birt and Benjamin Birt; sister, Ruby Laughman; sisters-in-law, Judy Campbell and Linda Schaffer; and several nieces and nephews.

Bev and Bob owned and operated Birt’s Sewing Center in Greenville. Bev and Bob attended EUM Church and were members of the American Legion, VFW, and the Moose. They were avid mushroom hunters, making many trips to Gaylord, Michigan. They also spent many weekends at Coldwater, Michigan at their weekend home. Many hours were spent by the lake fishing and socializing with their friends. 

A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
