Billy Ray Crossley, Sr., 78, of Pitsburg, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.
He was born on June 4, 1943, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Raymond and Ivalou (Haworth) Crossley.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his sister, Jacqueline Fisher.
Billy was a 1961 graduate of Franklin Monroe High School. After school, Billy enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he served his country honorably for 26 years until his retirement as a Master Sergeant. After his retirement, Billy developed an enjoyment for traveling and watching the news and keeping up with politics. Billy had a large heart and cared for this mother for the last 10 years of her life.
Billy is survived by his wife, Mary Grace (Felomino) Crossley, whom he married on October 5, 2012; his children, Sheila Crossley of Pitsburg, and Billy (Jessica Hinshaw) Crossley of Arcanum, Ohio; his grandson, Jared Ray; and his brother, John (Pam Shepherd) Crossley of Gettysburg, Ohio.
A celebration of Billy's life will take place at 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Pastor Terry Haworth officiating. Billy's dedication to our country will be recognized and remember during a military service conducted by the Greenville Honor Guard beginning at 4:00 PM.
Guests may visit with his family on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
