Candy Riegle

Candy Riegle, 70, of Ansonia, Ohio, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2015 at her residence with her love ones by her side.

She was born July 25, 21945 in New Hampton, Iowa, daughter of the late Wayne E. and Rita Marie (Brown) Bodmer. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Doug Bodmer.

Candy had driven bus for the Ansonia Local Schools and later for the Darke County Head Start.

She is survived by her husband, Gene A. Riegle whom she married December 24, 1977; son, Ron Riegle of Versailles; step son, Rock Riegle of Greenville; grandchildren, Griffen, Cassidy, Rocky, and Macie Riegle; a sister, Barb (Harley) Smith, of Mendota, IL; brothers, Duane Bodmer of Mendota, IL, Bill Bodmer of West Brooklyn, IL, Dennis (Crystal) Bodmer of Mendota, IL, and Eugene (Deb) Bodmer of Mendota, IL; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be held at 6 p.m., Wednesday, August 5 at Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to State of the Heart Hospice.
