Carl Null Jr., 86, of Greenville, passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Versailles Health Care Center.



Carl was born on June 27, 1930 in Greenville, to the late Carl and Madge (Silverthorne) Null.



In addition to his parents, Carl is preceded in death by his brothers, John Null, Raymond Null and Bob Null.



Carl graduated from Gettysburg High School in 1948 and then served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1955. After the Air Force, Carl worked for 7-Up Bottling Company for 35 years. He enjoyed rabbit, pheasant and mushroom hunting. He loved traveling, having been to 49 out of the 50 states. He also traveled to England, while in the Air Force, where he met his wife, Kay. He also traveled to Scotland, and Mexico. In his younger years, he liked to go camping especially with his family.



Carl is survived by his wife of 63 years, Kay (Salmon) Null, whom he married, October 24,1953; Sons and daughters-in-law, Mike Null of Greenville, Kevin and Anne Null of South Charleston, OH and Jeff and Lisa Null of Greenville; his grandson, Adam Null of Greenville; several nieces and nephews.



A graveside Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Oak Grove Cemetery with Pastor Todd Reish officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery, in Fort Jefferson.



There will be no public visitation held.



In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to at the Boys and Girls Club, 613 S. Broadway, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
