Carson Scott McKee, 50, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
He was born in Richmond, Indiana on January 29, 1974 to parents, Dennis and Susi (Hazelwood) McKee.
In addition to his parents, Carson is survived by his wife, Destiny (Rehmert) McKee, whom he married on April 25, 2016; his son, Ean McKee of New Paris; stepdaughters, Merissa (Matthew) Hanish, Mallory Baker, and Madelynn Baker, all of Greenville; grandchildren, Kaden Denham and Kaisley Hanish; brother, Keenan McKee of Eaton; father and mother-in-law, Steve, Sr. and Michele Rehmert of Greenville; brothers-in-law, Steven Rehmert, Jr. of Eaton, and Timothy Rehmert of Kettering; nieces and nephews, Tyler and Alyssa McKee, Steven III and Kyndahl Rehmert, Holden and Nevaeh Brubaker and Annelise Rehmert.
He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Robert and Vera McKee and James and Gertrude Hazelwood.
Carson was a 1992 graduate of National Trail High School. As a man of many trades, Carson worked as a General Manager at Firestone Tire, later leaving to open his own automotive repair shop, formerly known as 548-Tire. After many years, Carson closed his business to follow a new dream of owning and operating a dump truck service, known as Good Dump Trucking.
Carson loved taking vacations with his family. Some of his most favorite destinations include, trips to Las Vegas, Florida and Tennessee. In his free time, Carson loved riding his Harley, tinkering and restoring Mustangs, with his most favorite style being, the Fox body. Carson had a bold personality but a heart of gold. His community was important to him, and it was not uncommon for Carson to donate his time and skills to helping others. He spent many years with the Darke County Disaster Relief, transporting and delivering water and other supplies to communities in need.
Guests may visit with Carson’s family on Monday, August 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus.
A celebration of Carson’s life will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Steve Whalen officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Union Cemetery.
