Christine L. Brenner

Christine "Chris" Brenner, 56, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 5, 2021, at her home.

She was born on May 7, 1965, in Pekin, Illinois, to the late Donald and Darlene (Dircks) Payton.

In addition to her parents, Chris was preceded in death by her daughter, Cassandra Jewell; and her sister, Karen Kipfer.

Chris was a big-hearted person, who loved her family and friends. She enjoyed spoiling and spending time with her grandchildren. Chris was an avid knickknacks collector and especially enjoyed the cartoon figurines. In her free time, she liked to play games, be with her beloved cats, and cook for her family.

Chris is survived by her husband, Jim E. Brenner; her children, Katrina Jewell of Indianapolis, Indiana, and Jake Jewell of Thayer, Missouri; her stepsons, Jamin and Jesse Brenner, both of Greenville; her grandchildren, Silas Jewell and Emmersyn Mischler; and her siblings, Faye (Jeff) Matejewski, Debbie Payton, Donald (Kristie) Payton, and Diana (Joe) Fuller.

Per Chris' wishes, there will be no services.
