Cindy Joy Van Pelt

Cindy Joy (Cox) Van Pelt, 58, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.

She was born on March 20, 1961 in Fayette County, Kentucky to the late Sam and Elsie (Crichton) Cox.

In addition to her parents, Cindy was preceded in death by her aunt, Jerri Henderson.

Cindy graduated from Jessamine County Sr. High School in Kentucky. After graduation, she worked for various medical organizations, with the most recent being Wayne Healthcare. Cindy enjoyed watching country western movies, listening to country music, and spending time with her family. She loved her beloved cat, Cash. In her free time, Cindy liked playing card games with her friends and relaxing outside.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Van Pelt; her children, Josh Van Pelt of Greenville, Samantha Van Pelt of Troy, Ohio, and Stephanie Van Pelt of Arcanum, Ohio; and her brother, Carl Cox of Fayette County, Kentucky.

A celebration of Cindy's life will take place at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2019 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus with Rev. Eric Fee officiating.

Guest may visit with the Van Pelt family from 5:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
