Clarabel K. Price

Clarabel K. Price, 89, of Grenville, passed away Sunday afternoon, November 27, 2011 at her residence. She was born June 4, 1922 in the Rossburg area, daughter of the late William and Mary (Hathaway) Lambert. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony A. “Tony” Price on June 21, 1988; a son, Roy; and a sister, Pearl Cox. Clarabel was retired from the former Corning Glass in Greenville where she had worked for 26 years. She was a member of the Greenville VFW Auxiliary. She is survived by her children, Marion (Shirley) Price of Rockford, OH, Arthur (Joyce) Price of Piqua, and Betty L. Thompson of Greenville; grandchildren, Kimberly (Carl Jr) Green, Scott (Kelli) Price; Chad Price, Jeremy (Fiance, Heidi Warner) Price, Andrew Adams, Jennifer (Justin) Howard, Brian (Amy) Price, and Emily Turner; great grandchildren, Jorden and Dylen Price, Carl III, Alexander, Rachel, Logan, and Jaden Green, Chassica, Thomas, Johneth, Connor, Cooper, Brayden and Kaitlyn Price; and a sister, Thelma Barga of Greenville. Private services will be held at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Brock Cemetery. There will be no public visitation. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Cancer Association of Darke County.
