Clarice Jeanette Mong

Clarice Jeanette Mong, 91, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at the Community Hospital East in Indianapolis. She was born in Union City, IN, daughter of the late Frank and Mayme (Monks) Flory. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, LaDon Mong, a brother and a sister. A Homemaker, Jeanette was a member of the Pine Island United Methodist Church in Bokeelia, FL. She is survived by her children, Janet (Dennis) Hunley, Ron (Sharon) Mong, and Donnie (Suzie) Mong; nine grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; and sisters-in-law, Catherine Byrne and Fay Cook. Services will be held at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville on Saturday, September 20 at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Tony Hunley officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Pine Island United Methodist Church.
