Claudia F. Denlinger, 71, of Greenville, went to be with her Lord Saturday evening, February 27, 2010 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Buffalo, NY daughter of the late Francis and Helen (Stocking) Robison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Matthew Norris and Sarah Weidner. Claudia had worked as a merchandiser for American Greetings and was well known as "The Card Lady", having serviced numerous stores in the Darke County area. She was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Greenville. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Ray A. Denlinger, whom she married August 2, 1958; daughters, Donna Satterfield of Oak Ridge, TN, Karen (Phil) Cheshire of Lakeland, FL, June (Tal) Mong of Pitsburg and Beth (Eric) Weidner of Brookville; grandchildren, Cory Norris, Janee' Thompson, Caitlin Satterfield, Katrina Satterfield, Benjamin Cheshire, Nicholas Cheshire, Joseph Cheshire, Emily Weidner and Alex Weidner; 3 great grandchildren; brother, Gary Robison of Cleveland; and two sisters, Marcia Rust of Cleveland and Penny Bealer of Pierpont, OH. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 3 at 1 p.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Dan Denlinger officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in the Arlington Cemetery near Brookville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the American Cancer Society.
