Corda E. Leeper

Corda Elvira Leeper, age 94 of North Star, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, at her home. 

She was born on October 4, 1930 in Celina, OH to the late Daniel and Anna (Gause) Gehron. 

In addition to her parents, Corda is preceded in death by her husband, Minor Leeper; brothers, Melvin Gehron and Willard Gehron; and sisters, Bernice Rhodes and Margaret Miles.

Those left to cherish Corda's memory include her son, Dan Leeper of North Star; grandchildren, Dawn Shough (Troy) of Quincy, OH and Nathan Leeper (Tonya) of Rossburg, OH; great grandchildren, Brittany Shough, Kolt Shough (Kelli) and their daughter, Kambrie Xiu, Mercedes Leeper, Gabriella Leeper, William Leeper, and Caleb Leeper. 

Corda worked many years at New Idea in Coldwater and Philpot Dairy Bar in North Star. She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary in North Star. Corda enjoyed crossword puzzles, word search books, fishing, and reading. She also enjoyed cooking and baking, her family will especially miss her famous sugar cookies. 

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, January 27, 2025 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus. Interment will follow at Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. 

Guests may visit with her family on Monday prior to the service from 10:00 AM-12:00 PM at the funeral home.
