David M. Shiverdecker

David M. Shiverdecker, 49, of Greenville, passed away early Sunday morning, February 12, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 23, 1962 in Greenville, son of the late Michael "Mick" and Arlene E. (Hauberg) Shiverdecker. Dave was retired from the City of Greenville Street Department where he had worked for 30 years. He was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Greenville. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Connie (Yohey) Shiverdecker, whom he married March 14, 1992; a daughter, Tracy (Steve) Bailey; step children, Holli Anderson and Nick Anderson; grandchildren, Parker and Kaylyn Bailey, and Kyla and Gavin Gerace; sisters, Debra (and friend, Jane Johnston) Shiverdecker, Cynthia (Cindy) Enicks, and Susan (W. Douglas) Taylor. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, February 16, at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Eric Fee officiaitng. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 p.m.
