Derrick A. Mowery

Derrick A. Mowery, 42, of Richmond, IN and formerly of Greenville, OH, passed away Friday morning, January 8, 2010 at the emergency room of Reid Hospital in Richmond. Derrick was born in Greenville, OH, son of Thomas L. and Shirley A. (Niswonger) Mowery of Greenville. He was employed at Romark Industries in Richmond and was a co-partner of Jones Auto Sales in Centerville, IN. In addition to his parents he is survived by a son, Lane Michael Mowery of Richmond; maternal grandparents, George and Helen Niswonger of Greenville; a sister, Tonia (and friend, Brian Meade) Mowery of Greenville; a nephew, Eli Hathaway of Greenville; a very special friend and mother of his son, Heather Jones of Richmond; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be held Wednesday, January 13 at 7 p.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, 1000 N. Broadway, Greenville, with the Rev. Jim Morehouse officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-7 p.m.
