Donald E Newbauer

Donald E Newbauer, 73, of Greenville, OH, passed away, Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Wayne Healthcare.

Donald was born Wednesday, March 31, 1943 in Covington, OH, a son of the late Robert and Lois (Hoover) Newbauer.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by his wife, Karen S. Newbauer, son, Vincent Newbauer, brothers,Robert Newbauer, Jr., Ronnie Newbauer, Rodney Newbauer and Charlie Newbauer and a sister, Sissy Newbauer.


Donald served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force. He was very active in the 87th APS Association. Donald was a life member of the Airforce Sergeants Association and the AMVETS. He was also a member of the American Legion, VFW, and the Masonic Lodge all of Greenville. Donald had retired from Fram in Greenville.


Donald is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shawna and Mike Wise of Greenville; grandsons, Douglas and Aaron; brothers, Merle Lee Newbauer and John A Newbauer; sisters, Ruth Avery and Lynn Newbauer; several nieces and nephews.


A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, February 4, 2017 at the Greenville Grace Brethren Church, 4805 St. Rt. 49 S. in Greenville with Pastor Marshall Gipe officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery.

Family and friends may visit Saturday, February 4, 2017 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Greenville Grace Brethren Church.
