Dorothy M. Dailey, 80, of Greenville, passed away Wednesday afternoon, March 19 at Heartland of Greenville. She was born in Lincoln County, KY, daughter of the late Leslie and Lula Belle (Anderson) Adams. In addition to her parents she was preceded by a son, Thomas Dailey, III in infancy; two brothers, James and Ernest Adams; and a sister, Lena Mae Payne. A homemaker, Dorothy had worked for International Envelope. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Greenville. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Thomas Dailey whom she married October 5, 1946 in Lancaster, KY; children, John W. (Lucille) Dailey of Fairborn, Dan T. (Maggie) Dailey of Beavercreek and Tammy K. (Randy) Manuel of Sheffield Lake, OH; grandchildren, Scott (Rhonda) Dailey, Michael (Lindsay) Watson, Darcey Watson, Jesse Watson, Brandon and Travis Manuel, Patrick and Sean Dailey; great grandchildren Alex, Emma and Caden; and two brothers, Charlie Adams of Beavercreek and Roy Lee (Mary) Adams of Danville, KY. Services will be held Monday, March 24 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Greenville, 7233 St. Rt. 121 N., Greenville with Pastor Paul Orrick officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Ft. Jefferson. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. till 1 p.m. Monday at the First Baptist Church. The family requests memorial contributions be given to either Heartland Hospice or The First Baptist Church of Greenville. Arrangements have been entrusted with the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville.
