Dorothy May Rismiller

Dorothy May Rismiller, 92, of Greenville, formerly of Versailles, passed away Thursday, December 25, 2014 at Rest Haven in Greenivlle.

She was born February 6, 1922, in Coldwater, Ohio. A daughter of the late Fred and Fern (Warren) Fullroth.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Homer A. F. Rismiller, whom she married March 21, 1943; Children, Patricia Louise and David Arthur Rismiller; brothers, Edgar, Leonard H. and John Fullroth; sisters Mary Rike, and Martha E. Kanaus.

Dorothy was a member of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in North Star. As a farmer's wife her whole life, she ran the family farm. She was not afraid to work the farm, milk the cows and pay the bills. She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Emma Weyrick of Greenville, Jerry L. (Nancy) Rismiller of Greenville, Steven H. Rismiller of Versailles, Michael (Millie) Rismiller of Versailles and Gail (Jerry) Lunsford of Batavia, Ohio; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Services will be held 1pm Monday, December 29, 2014 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in North Star, Ohio. Burial will follow in the St. Paul Lutheran Church Cemetery.

The family will be receiving friends on Monday from 11am until the time of service at the church.
