Elaine G. Curtner

Elaine G. Curtner, 79, of Ansonia, passed away Thursday morning, September 18, 2008 at her residence. She was born in Darke County, daughter of the late Edward and Maude (Crane) Huddle. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband, Dale Snyder; her second husband, Ronald L. Curtner; and a sister, Eloise Singer. A homemaker, Elaine also had assisted her son with Colorcraft Family Portraits. She was a member of the Ansonia American Legion Auxiliary and a 1947 graduate of Ansonia High School. She is survived by her children, Cheryl (Gene) Clouse, Rheta Best, John (Pam) Snyder and Kent Snyder all of Ansonia; step children, Lonnie L. Curtner of Hillgrove, Shawn Curtner, Carla K. Curtner both of Union City and Kelly J. Curtner of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Angie (Dave) Westfall, Jodi (Brian) Fullroth, Amy (Craig) Hine, Holly (fianc�, Joe Baker) Best, Brandon (Jennifer) Snyder, Ryan Snyder, Kayla (Adam) Kidd, Jadilyn Snyder, Ryan (Micheal) Baker and Brook (Christy) Baker; several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Services will be held Monday, September 22, at 2 p.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Joe Royer officiating. Burial will follow in the Ansonia Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Sunday from 2-5 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the Ansonia Area Rescue.
