Ellen Theresa Erwin

Ellen Theresa (Dalton) Erwin, 88, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023, at the Village Green Healthcare in Greenville.

She was born on September 7, 1934, in Cape Broyle, Newfoundland, Canada to the late John and Hannah (Ryan) Dalton.

In addition to her parents, Ellen was preceded in death by her siblings, Hettie Walsh, Margaret Ryan, Joanie Leeds, James Dalton, Mick Dalton, Bren Dalton, Bride MacLean, Cyril Dalton; and her grandson, Curtis Parrish.

Ellen is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Don) Forbes of Winterville, North Carolina, Sharon (Greg Terry) Cradler of Liberty Township, Ohio, and Susie Parrish of Wayne Lakes, Ohio; her 4 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Edward "Duddle" (Gert) Dalton of Cape Broyle, Newfoundland; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ellen worked at the Brethren Home for many years as a receptionist and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.

Per Ellen's request, there will be no services and she will be taken back to her homeland in Newfoundland, Canada.
