Elvis R. Wright

Elvis R. Wright, 64, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away, unexpectedly, on Friday, October 8, 2021, at his home.

He was born on October 15, 1956, in Troy, Ohio, to the late Bob and Mary Jane Wright.

In addition to his parents, Elvis was preceded in death by his wife, Stephanie Wright, whom he married on August 24, 1985; his son, Jamie Copeland; his beloved dog, Toby; and numerous half siblings.

Elvis loved his family and enjoyed being with them, especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed playing the drums and going bowling. Elvis was particularly good at playing pool and would even shoot left-handed. When he wasn't with his family, Elvis could be found searching for his latest collection item, listening to country music and going fishing. He was a member of the Moose Lodge in Celina, Ohio.

Elvis is survived by his children, Bobby Wright of Greenville, Michelle (Matthew) Waters of Greenville, and Joseph (Samantha Koverman) Reed of Troy; his grandchildren, Jayda Wright, Zachary Burgan, Nyesha Wright, Hailey Reed, Patience Wright, Amerlin Reed, Alyssa Reed, Olivia Wright, Madilyn Reed, and Damien Reed; his great grandchild, Shae Kenworthy; his siblings, Sandy Johnson and Becky (Cliff) Setser, all of Greenville; his half siblings, Maxine Demoss of Troy, and Bobby Fyffe of Corpus Christi, Texas; and his dog Sophie.

A celebration of Elvis' life will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus. Burial will follow in Forest Hills Cemetery, Piqua, Ohio.

Guests may visit with Elvis' family on Saturday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the start of the service at 1:00 PM
