Ernest "David" Glick

Ernest “David” Glick, 74, of Greenville passed away on May 1, 2013. David was born on August 1, 1938 to the late Frank and Mary Gingry Glick. David was a big racing fan and spent a lot of time at Eldora Speedway. He was a long time employee at the bowling alley in Greenville and loved by many. In addition to his parents, David is preceded in death by a sister, Pearl Steiner; a brother, Ted Glick and a nephew Rick Steiner. Left to cherish his memory are eight nieces and nephews, Becky Steiner (widow of Rick) of Greenville, Ohio, Sue Holleman of Batesville, Arkansas, Judy Baker, Pat McClendon, Terry Glick, Janey Baker and Brenda Athmer , all of Dixon, Missouri , and Tim Glick of Rolla Missouri; ten great nieces and eight great nephews and twenty seven great -great nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Jenny Glick of Dixon, Missouri and a host of friends and other family members. The family would also like to thank his extended family at Gade Nursing home, where he lived for many years , for such great care. A celebration of life service will be held for David at 7 PM on May 9, 2013 at Braund Pope Funeral Home in New Madison. Friends may visit from 5:30 – service time also on Thursday.
