Frank F. Flory, 73, of Arcanum, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at the EverHeart Hospice Care Center in Greenville, Ohio.
He was born on December 9, 1950, in Greenville to the late Henry and Marjorie (Ross) Flory.
Frank is survived by his wife, Vicky (Russell) Flory, whom he married on July 22, 2004; his children, Keith (Brandon) Flory of Columbus, Ohio, Kevin (Michelle) Flory of Greenville; his stepdaughter, Heather (Jamie) Sullivan of Arcanum; his grandchildren, Grant (Katlyn) Flory, Lauren Flory, and Lukas Flory; his great granddaughter, Della Flory; and his step-grandchildren, Taylor (Anthony) Fletcher, Griffen Sullivan, Max Sullivan, and Bella Sullivan.
Frank was a 1969 graduate of Franklin Monroe High School. Shortly after graduation, Frank enlisted in the Ohio Army National Guard, where he served honorably until his discharge in 1976. Frank worked for Mummaw Fruit Farm in Dayton for over 20 years as their farm manager. After leaving Mummaw's, Frank worked for his son, Kevin, at Flory's Landscaping for over 35 years. Frank was a master mechanic and loved to fabricate things. In his free time, Frank enjoyed showing and driving horses, and participating in competition plowing events. He was also an avid International/Farmall enthusiast. Frank had a great sense of patience. He spent many hours teaching his grandchildren and many of his friends how to drive tractors and manual trucks. But above all, Frank loved his family and especially enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
Frank was a member of the Darke County Plowing Organization and the Ohio State Plowing Organization. He attended Webster Methodist Church, and enjoyed going to the Moose Lodge with Vicky.
