George Ray Stephenson

George Ray Stephenson, more commonly known as Rusty, age 77, of Greenville, Ohio, formerly of Huntsville, Ohio, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024, at Ayden Healthcare in Greenville. 

He was born on February 18, 1947, in Logan County, Ohio, to the late Frank and Louise (Cordrey) Stephenson. 

Rusty is survived by his sons, Jorge M. (Stacy) Stephenson of Massachusetts and Mark S. Stephenson of Minnesota; and one grandson. 

Rusty spent most of his life in the Indian Lake region, growing up in Russell’s Point and living in Huntsville. He served his country honorably in the United States Army. Rusty enjoyed raising huskies and participating in dog sled races. He also enjoyed building RC cars, planes, and boats and model rail roading. He also enjoyed working on arcade games and tinkering with PCs.

Private services will take place at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in the Huntsville Cemetery.
