Georgianna Widlock

Georgianna (Profitt) Widlock, 78, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio.

She was born on February 15, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Daniel B. and Martha S. (Haven) Profitt.

In addition to her parents, Georgianna was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Widlock, whom she married on July 17, 1965, and who passed away on April 6, 2007; and her brothers, Daniel Profitt, Jr., Eugene Profitt, James Profitt, Arthur Profitt, J.B. "Vernon" Profitt, Billy Profitt, and Elroy Profitt.

Georgianna is survived by her children, Crystal (Tom) Ackerman of Greenville, Garrett Widlock of South Bend, Indiana, Donald (Debbie) Widlock of Florida, and Alan (Tina) Widlock of Texas; her grandchildren, Crystal Ann, Robert, Matthew, Ricky, Tom, Timothy, Kimberly, Jeremy, and Lisa; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Allie, Chelsea, Cassie, and Macie; her siblings, Lewis (Mary) Profitt of Arcanum, Ohio, Alwilda (Bill) Botta of Michigan, Cerilda Combs of Fairborn, Ohio, and Ella Jane (Sam) Smith of Florida; and countless nieces and nephews.

Georgianna enjoyed playing cards with her family and loved playing bingo. She was a long-time member of Bible Fellowship Church in Greenville. Georgianna loved going to church and being involved with her church family. She loved to read and has read countless harlequin romance novels.

A celebration of Georgianna's life will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 30, 2022, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with Pastor Scott Gruber officiating. Burial will follow in Gettysburg Cemetery.

Her family will receive guests on Friday, from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
