Gerald "Jerry" Lee Kermeen

Gerald “Jerry” Lee Kermeen, 70, of Greenville, OH, passed away Saturday morning, May 25, 2013 at Wayne Health Care.

He was born November 16, 1942, in Beech Grove, IN, a son of the late Frank and Carrie (Burns) Kermeen. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Robert Kermeen.

Jerry retired from Fram after 26 years of service and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He was also very active with the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Alice (Altick) Kermeen, whom he married July 2, 1966; four children, Mark (Michelle) Kermeen of Urbana, Ohio, Chris (Kim) Kermeen of Greenville, OH, Diana Kermeen and friend Nick Chanos of Greenville, Ohio and Janice (Travis) Walker of Greenville, Ohio; 20 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30am, Friday, May 31, 2013 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Greenville, OH. Burial, with full military honors will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5 – 7 P.M.. The family request that memorials contributions be made to The Humane Society of the United States, Dept. HACEE1305V1002, 2100 L Street NW, Washington, DC 20037.
