Glen Robert Hollinger Jr., 76, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, December 31, 2022, his home.
He was born on November 3, 1946, in Greenville, Ohio, to the late Glen and Florence (Addis) Hollinger.
In addition to his parents, Glen was preceded in death by his brother, Robert F. Hollinger.
Glen is survived by his wife of over 49 years, Kathy (Blancher) Hollinger; his brother, Thomas A. and Teddie Hollinger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Glen was a graduate of Greenville High School, where he set many track and football records. Glen attended Bowling Green State University and Sinclair Community College. He was a graduate of NCR Institute of Technology in Dayton, Ohio, ITT Tech in New York, New York, and the Jones Graduate School at Rice University in Houston, Texas. Over the years, Glen worked as a computer and data engineer and manager. He enjoyed football, cooking, as well as landscaping and gardening. He will be remembered as the family historian. Glen's hobbies included reading, collecting coins, arrowheads, and artifacts.

A celebration of Glen's life, along with his brother, Robert F. Hollinger, will take place at 1:00 PM on Saturday, January 14, 2023, at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus, with their nephew, Chad Hollinger officiating. Both brothers will be laid to rest following the service in Harris Creek Cemetery near Bradford, Ohio.
Guests may visit with Glen's family on Saturday from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
