Greta Ann (Begoon) Bowers

Greta Ann (Begoon) Bowers, 60, of Greenville, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012 with her family at her side. Greta was born on May 23, 1952 to the late William R. and Bertha M. (Clem) Begoon. Greta was a home maker and did childcare during her life. She enjoyed horses and horseback riding, camping, fishing and most of all spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Greta is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth F. Bowers and a son, R. Lee Jones. Greta is survived by two daughters, Michele L. Jones and Lorrie A. Jones; grandchildren, Christopher, Brittanie and Jenna Jones, Sarah Johnson, Barbara-Ann and Dustin Grant and Calvin and Brant Rusk; brothers, William and wife Linda Begoon, John and wife Janice Begoon, Ronald and wife Valerie Begoon, Daryl and wife Sharon Begoon and Kevin Begoon; sisters, Sherry L. Bailey, Lona D. Elliot and Lisa and husband John Manz as well as many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life service will be held at the convenience of the family.
