Helen M. Minton, 89, of Greenville passed away Sunday morning, February 3 at Oakley House in Greenville. She was born in Darke County, daughter of the late Charles A. and Lora M. (Brooks) Minton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Frances Breymier and Mary E. Cox; and two nieces, Sue Livingston and Carol Thornhill. Helen was retired from American Aggregates where she had worked for several years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Greenville. She is survived by two nieces, Pamela Cox and Linda Olbrycht; nephew, Ron Breymier; great nieces and nephews, Jeff, Darrell and Scott Thornhill; Rhonda Setser, Ben Breymier, Jessica Breymier, Brent Livingston, Sherri Livingston, Meridith Allendorph and Wesley Olbrycht; and 9 great great nieces and nephews. Services will be held Thursday, February 7 at 2 p.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Rev. Joe Payne officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 1-2 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to either the American Heart Association or the Cancer Association of Darke County.
