Jack E. Lecklider

Jack E. Lecklider, 76, of Greenville (Wayne Lakes), passed away Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. He was born May 24, 1935 in Darke County, son of the late Bert Emerson and Thelma Mae (Neff) Lecklider.  In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Dean Lecklider. Jack had worked at Hobart Corporation in Troy. He was a veteran of  the  Army and was an avid fisherman. He is survived by his wife, Sharon E. (McCullough) whom he married June 30, 1972; children, Tammy (William) Huwer of Versailles, Tracy Sease of Arcanum, Todd Lecklider of Union City, Ohio; grandchildren, Chelsey Sease, Benjamin Sease, Brandon Archey, Tanner Huwer;  a sister, Phyllis (James) Bixler of Greenville; and a brother Dennis (Judy) Lecklider of Lewisburg. Services with full military honors by the Greenville Veterans Honor Guard will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2012 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Eric Knight officiating.  Burial will follow in the Teegarden Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to the Teegarden Church.
