Jacob Daniel Cocking

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Jacob Daniel Cocking, age 25 of Brookville, Ohio. He passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, November 7, 2024. A beloved son, cherished brother, and resilient soul. Jacob brought light, laughter, and inspiration to everyone he encountered.

He was born on September 20, 1999 in Des Moines, IA to James and Korey Cocking.

Jacob is survived by his parents and his brother, Hunter Cocking; extended family; and many other people who were blessed enough to know Jacob and experience his love. 

Jacob loved watching Bear in the Big Blue House, The Wiggles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and playing with his baby and phone rattle. Jacob's departure from this world has left a void that can never be filled, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
