Jacob Levi Stump

Jacob Levi Stump, age 32 of Portland, IN, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2024 at IU Health Jay Hospital in Portland, IN.

He was born on April 22, 1992 in Dayton, OH to Jo Enicks Stump and the late Darryl Stump.

In addition to his father, Jacob is preceded in death by his grandparents, Roscoe Stump and David and Angela Enicks; aunt, Cheryl Wright; and cousin, Kaylah Loy.

Those left to cherish Jacob's memory include his mother, Jo Enicks Stump; brothers, Michael Stump and Alex Stump; grandmother, Judy Stump; aunt, Cherolet (Rob) Hutcheson and their children, Cerah (Chris) Dugan, Makennah (Levi) Markley, Erykah (Reed Brammer) Hutcheson, and Robert Hutcheson; aunt, Gerri Enicks and her son Shanon (Stephanie McEldowney) Smith; aunt, Kelly (Mark) Erisman and their daughter, Christine (Chris) Adams; uncle, Dwight (Kathy) Stump and their children, Lucas (Kayla) Stump, Kendra (Brian) Clem, and Korrie Stump; uncle, Dave Wright and children, Amanda Elzey and her husband and Hannah Wright; and his close friends, Troy and Courtney Briner, Dominic Rammel, and Brian Hall. 

Jacob worked at J R Manufacturing, Inc. in Fort Recovery, OH for 9 years where he was an operator and a crew lead. He loved playing Dungeons and Dragons and Pokemon. Jacob will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul by those who knew him. He embraced each day with a quiet strength, leaving small imprints of love on all those he encountered. His memory will continue to live on in the stories shared and the love he shared with others.

A memorial service will be held from 5:00 PM-7:00 PM on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville.
