James "Jim" Ray Ploch, 63, of Greenville, passed away Tuesday, January 02, 2018 at Heartland of Greenville.
He was born September 11, 1954 in Greenville, the son of the late Sherman and Esther (Goens) Ploch.
In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Ploch and a brother-in-law, Paul Strain.
Jim had a love of yardwork and enjoyed mowing and would adopt any cat that needed a home. He also worked at Neff Company for 20 years.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Gayle (Strain) Ploch, whom he married November 14, 1987; his children, Heather Ploch and Jason Ploch, both of Greenville; his sister, Cynthia Ploch of Wayne Lakes; a nephew, Samuel Ploch of Greenville; a brother-in-law, Thomas Strain of New Madison; and two sisters-in-law, Gloria Ploch and Carol Strain both of Greenville.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1PM Friday, January 5, 2018 at Oliver Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Rev. Eric Fee officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.
Family and friends may visit from 4PM to 7PM, Thursday, January 4, 2018, at the funeral home and again Friday from 12PM to 1PM.
