Jamie E. Menger, 55, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on December 18, 2023, at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana.
He was born on May 17, 1968, in Greenville, to the late Kenny Menger and Linda (Hale) Alvey.
In addition to his parents, Jamie was preceded in death by his son, Dylan Stith; his brothers, Jeffrey and Tim Menger; and his mother-in-law, Harriet Stith.
Jamie is survived by his best friend and partner in crime, Shelly M. (Stith) Menger of Greenville; his children, Ashley Haidle of Lima, Ohio, Joshua (Heather) Stith of Greenville, Breann (Steven) Mittermann of St. Henry, Ohio, Ashlyn (Austin Swank) Menger of Rossburg, Jakob Menger of Greenville, and Erik Menger of Greenville; his grandchildren, Damian, Emma, Kylee, Aaliyah, Paisley, and Dylan Emerie; and many close friends.
Jamie was a man of many skills and worked for Mikesell Excavating in New Madison for several years. Being outdoors was like second nature to him. Jamie had a need for speed and anything loud. His Harley and "Buggy" were considered his pride and joy to his family. As much as he enjoyed riding, and getting his toys dirty, he was very OCD about keeping them clean. Jamie didn't know a stranger, and enjoyed socializing, whether it be at the Moose or a cookout with his friends. Nothing filled Jamies heart more, then spending time with his family especially his grandbabies.
Jamie's family invites everyone to come spend time and share stories on Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Tribute Funeral Homes, Greenville Campus. A Lodge of Sorrow conducted by the Greenville Moose Lodge will take place at 4:00 PM.
