Janet A. Watson went home to be with Jesus on Sunday, May 1, 2022.

She was born in Steubenville, Ohio, on July 29, 1941.

Janet lived in Columbus, Ohio, and moved to Greenville 3 years ago to be closer to her children. She was married to Brent Watson, who passed away on May 23, 2019. Janet was a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was devoted to God, her family, and her friends. Janet was a talented textile artist, avid reader, Bridge player, Sudoku expert, and traveler. She was a hospice volunteer at Kobacker House in Columbus and an active member of her church.

In addition to her husband, Janet was preceded in death by her sister, Sandie Roberston.

Janet is survived by her siblings, Elizabeth Williams and John Moffatt; her children, Christine (Dan) Elliott and Cynthia (Jeff) Davis; her four grandchildren, Emma Davis, Andrew (Natalie) Elliott, Isabel Elliott, and Samuel Davis; and her great grandson, Theodore Elliott.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity Wesleyan Church in Greenville, Ohio, on Saturday, May 21, 2022. There will be coffee and greetings from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, followed by a church service.
