Janet K. Smith

Janet K. Smith, 63, of Rossburg, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2011 at her residence. She was born March 21, 1947 in Piqua, OH, daughter of the late William Robert and Icy Mae (Gibson) Smith. Janet was a certified nurse’s aide having worked at the Versailles Healthcare Center. She was a member of the Humane Society and loved her cats. She is survived by a sister, Karen (Ron) Fiste of Greenville; a niece, Melissa (Clayton) Ramsey; nephews, Matthew Brown and Shawn Fiste; great niece and nephews, Cody Brown, Jessica Klopfer and Ryan Klopfer. A private service will be held at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 19 from 6-8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be given to help defray funeral expenses.
