Jennie Elizabeth (Fackler)

Jennie Elizabeth (Fackler) Rickert, 96, of Greenville passed away Friday morning, November 2 at Heartland of Greenville. She was the wife of Kenneth L. Rickert who passed away March 31, 1998 after 68 years of marriage. She and her husband farmed for many years before moving to Greenville in 1987. Preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Flora (Martin) Fackler, a brother Martin, a baby sister Leona, a sister Lucy Seman and a brother-in-law whom they raised, Harold C. Rickert. Survivors are a sister-in-law, Virginia Metzcar of Versailles, sister-in-law and caregiver Marceille Hyland of Dayton, many neices, nephews, cousins and friends. Jennie graduated from Versailles High School in 1928 and was a member and atteneded Woodington Church for many years and became a member of the Greenville Missionary Church, attending as much as her health permitted. Services will be held Wednesday, November 7 at 11 a.m. at the Greenville Missionary Church with the Rev. Gary Oser officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the church Wednesday from 10 a.m. till time of services at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
