Jennie G. Snyder

Jennie G. Snyder, 93, of Greenville, passed away Thursday afternoon, June 19, 2014 at the Rest Haven Nursing Home in Greenville.

She was born May 21, 1921 in Darke County, a daughter of the late Albert and Jennie (Schultz) Sharp . In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph R. Snyder on June 14, 1999 and 18 brothers and sisters.

Jennie had run the L&M Motel since it was purchased in 1960 as well as helping her husband with the Big "G" Bike shop prior to his death.

She is survived by her children, R. Ron Snyder, Connie K. Snyder, and Ric A. Snyder all of Greenville; grandchildren, Shellie (Chet) Walker of Greenville, Debbie Hemmerling of Tucson, Arizona and Lynette (Ken) Lucy of Troy, Ohio; 7 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Services will be held 2PM Thursday, June 26, 2014 at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville. Burial will follow in the Greenville Township Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
