Jennifer Sue Peck, age 50, of Greenville Ohio, passed away at 8:17 am on April 20, 2022, at EverHeart Hospice at Wayne Healthcare.
Jennifer was born on July 19, 1971, to Marilyn (DePoy) Hittle of Greenville, and the late Donald Hittle.
In addition to her father, Jennifer was preceded in death by her older brother, John V. Crowell Jr, her paternal and maternal grandparents, and her beloved K9 companion Quanto.
Jennifer was an ED Greeter at Wayne Healthcare in Greenville, where she has worked for 22 years. She was a vital part of the music group Country Harmony, a former member of Clark Station Trio, and 2nd Vice President of the Annie Oakley Committee and chairperson for the Annie Oakley Parade.
Jennifer was a fun, energetic, spunky, sassy, musical, loving, and caring person. She loved spending time with her husband, Gregory Peck, as they went to many fairs and festivals to manage the sound for Gregory Peck Sound. You could hear her voice, many times, as she would make announcements from the Mic Tent. She loved her family dearly and was always supportive of them and each adventure that came their way. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed sharing many stories that would often bring tears of laughter. Her love of music will never be forgotten. She could be heard singing to patients, co-workers, and anyone who listened while she worked over the years at Wayne Healthcare. Her voice could be heard singing the National Anthem at Eldora and many other places. She performed many times at the Darke County Fair as a member of Country Harmony and the former group, Clark Station Trio. Jennifer always had a special love for her furry babies and would always spend time with her German Shepherds, Remington Ray and Sig Sauer.
In addition to her mother, Jennifer is survived by her loving husband, Gregory Peck; her children, Tristan McDaniel and Sarah McDaniel, both of Greenville; her sister and brother-in-law, JoEllen (Crowell) and Gery Melling of Greenville; her brother and sister-in-law, Jeff Hittle and Cherie of Forest, Ohio; stepson and daughter-in-law, Gregory Jason and Trisha Peck; and grandchildren, Mason Peck, Chase Peck, and Reagan Peck, all of Hilliard, Ohio; and numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Jennifer's beautiful smile will always be remembered by her loved ones and friends. She will never be forgotten, as she has given so much to those she loved. Her voice blessed many people, and her spirit will live on in those she knew.
The family is planning a celebration of Jennifer's life for a later date.
