Jerald "Jerry" Gulley, age 80, of New Madison, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 12, 2022, at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.
Jerry was born in Connersville, Indiana, on April 8, 1942, to the late Alvia and Mary (Duckworth) Gulley.
In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his four brothers; Richard, Shelby, Bob and one in infancy and his sister in law, Nancy.
Jerry was a 1961 graduate of Connorsville High School. After high school Jerry served his country honorably in the United States Army. When he returned from service, he worked for the D & M factory in Connersville as well as working in other jobs around the area. Later, he worked for himself as an auto detailer. He enjoyed flying remote control planes with The Prop Busters Club in Richmond. One of his favorite things to do was boating on Brookville Lake.
Jerry is survived by his wife, Sandra (Rhoades) Gulley, whom he married on July 13, 1990; his children, Jerry A. Gulley of Richmond and Ronnie (Sandy) Gulley of New Paris, Ohio; his step children, Tracy (Jim) Frech of New Paris, and Kelli (Scott) Price of New Madison; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sisters-in-law, Ruthann and Julia; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.
