Jeremiah D. Burkhart

Jeremiah Daniel Burkhart, 39, of Greenville, Ohio, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023, at Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton, Ohio. Jeremiah was able to be an organ donor. His selfless actions will allow others to prosper, and his legacy will live on forever.

He was born on October 21, 1984, in Greenville to Ava A. (Taylor) Burkhart of Greenville and the late Basil J. Burkhart. 

In addition to his father, Jeremiah was preceded in death by his wife, Sarah (Howard) Burkhart, whom he married on April 9, 2009; his brother, Jeffery Burkhart; his paternal grandparents, Sterling and Anna Burkhart and his maternal grandparents, John and Margaret Taylor. 

In addition to his mother, Jeremiah is survived by his children, Breanna Burkhart of Brookville, Kadilynn Tinkham of Sidney, Ohio, and Adalee, Raimee, and Journiee Burkhart of Greenville; his stepson, Kaleb Mann of New Madison, Ohio; his siblings, Jessica (Brian) Kolb of Greenville, and Kimberly Frantz of Greenville; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

He worked for Wynn Flooring in Greenville and attended the Fourth Street Church of God. In his free time, Jeremiah enjoyed fishing, gaming, and caring for his beloved dog, Bella. 

A celebration of Jeremiah's life will take place at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at Open Door Church of God, 501 Ash Street, Greenville, Ohio 45331.
