Jerry L. "Fat Man" Rieman

Jerry L. "Fat Man" Rieman, Sr., age 65, of New Harrison, Ohio, passed away early Saturday morning, July 19, 2014, at the Baton Rouge Health Services Community in Lima, Ohio.

He was born January 2, 1949, a son of the late Elmer and Annabelle (Armstrong) Rieman.

In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by his son, John Richard Rieman.

Jerry worked at Leroi Dresser, in Sidney, Ohio, for 28 years

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Peggy (Valentine) Rieman; two children, Jerry (Kelly) Rieman of Gettysburg, Ohio and Ernestine (Robert) Kelly of Winchester, IN; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild and 2 more on the way; three brothers, Gene (Marie) Rieman of New Weston, Ohio, Tom (Janet) Rieman of Rossburg, Ohio, Joe (Shirley) Rieman of Versailles, Ohio; one sister, Mary (Chris) Cox of Greenville, Ohio and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be given to the family to help with funeral expenses.

A memorial service will be held at 1PM Saturday, July 26, 2014 at the Greenville Creek Christian Community Church, 5110 Buckneck Rd., Bradford, with Pastor Daryl Peeples officiating. The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 11am – 1pm.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville, Ohio.
