Jesse J. Miller, 90, of Greenville passed away Sunday Evening, October 28 at the Dayton Heart Hospital. He was born in Darke County, son of the late Grover A. and Wilma Leo (Ross) Miller. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Leah O. (Jones) Miller on August 18, 2000. Jesse was retired from the county co-op and farming. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in WWII. He was a member of the E.U.M. Church in Greenville, the Rolites National Camping Club, The National Camping and Hikers Association and the American Legion Post 140 in Greenville. He is survived by his son, Steven J. Miller of Greenville; step grandson and wife, Ben and Michelle Dean and thier children, Remy and Bryson; a brother, Ross Miller of Greenville; sisters, Ireta Beard of Greenville and Betty Brumbaugh of Ansonia; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be held Friday, November 2 at 10 a.m. at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with the Revs. John McRoberts and Bill Lyle co-officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Greenmound Cemetery in New Madison. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 5-8 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to the EUM Church.
