Joe A. Strosnider

Joe A. Strosnider, 63, of Ansonia, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 13, 2014, at St. Rita's Medical Center in Lima.

He was born March 19, 1951 in Darke County, son of Carlton W. "Sam" and Melissa L. (Reigle) Strosnider of New Weston.

Joe was retired from Cooper Farms n St. Henry and had attended the Teegarden Congregational Christian Church near Ansonia.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mary F. (Nearon) Strosnider, whom he married May 6, 1972; children, Jennifer (Jim) Pryer of Portland, MI, John (Norma) Strosnider of Ansonia, and Julie (Robert) Case of Ansonia; grandchildren, Andrea, Mike, and Matt Pryer, Ashley Strosnider, Trenten, Mollie, and Hailie Case, Steven and Dylan Garland; great grandson, Ryker Garland; sisters, Susan DeRegnaucourt, Dixie Stone, and Amy (Rob) Kozak all of Ansonia; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 16, at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home in Greenville with Pastor Eric Knight officiating. Burial will follow in the Teegarden Cemetery near Ansonia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to Spirit Medical Transport.
